The latest guest on The Great Indian Kapil Show was none other than the Deol brothers. Sunny Deol and Bobby Deol marked their presence at the comedy show and did lots of talking. As the show progressed, Sunny opened up about being a happy and proud father-in-law. The actor talked about how his daughter-in-law, Drishi Acharya, has brought good luck to the entire family. For the unversed, Sunny Deol’s son Karan Deol tied the knot with longtime girlfriend Drisha Acharya on June 18, 2023.
Sunny Deol Says ‘Everything Changed For Good‘ After His Daughter-in-Law Came in Life
Talking about his struggling days, Sunny said that there were days when despite putting in our best efforts, nothing good was coming our way. However, the actor said that post his son’s marriage everything changed. The actor said, “There have been many years, so many events have unfolded. We’ve all worked on various fronts. Various things were happening. We were putting in our best efforts. It wasn’t that we weren’t trying. I was involved in many things, and so was Bobby (Deol), and even Papa (Dharmendra). However, all of a sudden, with my son’s marriage, and the arrival of a daughter at our home, the atmosphere completely changed.”
His elder son Karan Deol, whom he introduced as an actor in his 2019 directorial disappointment, “Pal Pal Dil Ke Paas,” got married to Drishti Acharya, his childhood friend employed in the travel industry. They exchanged vows in June. Post the wedding, the Deol family received a list of good news.
Meanwhile, Bobby Deol also shared an incident showcasing Sunny Deol’s strength. He said, “A few days ago, when I went downstairs (at home) to take a walk, I noticed that the window of bhaiya’s car was cracked. I asked the others, ‘How did it happen? Did a coconut fall on it?‘ They said, ‘No. Sunny Sahab got angry, and he thumped it, causing it to crack.‘ It’s a fact.”
The year 2023 turned out to be a happy year for the Deol family. First, Dharmendra gained a great appreciation for his role in Karan Johar’s Rocky Aur Raani Kii Prem Kahaani.
