Sabyasachi became the first Indian designer to walk the Met Gala red carpet

Today is all about the Met Gala as celebrities from all over the world showed up in the most glamorous vintage and floral looks. However, for us it is also a very special day because celebrated Indian designer Sabyasachi Mukherjee has made history by being the first Indian designer to walk the Met Gala red carpet.

Alia Bhatt and Isha Ambani have already bedazzled people with their sartorial elegance  and Sabyasachi also left everyone stunned as he attended the fashion extravaganza wearing an embroidered cotton duster coat from the Sabyasachi Resort 2024 collection layered with tourmalines, pearls, emeralds and diamonds from Sabyasachi High Jewellery.

The designer also took to social media to post a video of posing for photographers on the Met Gala carpet. He struck some head turning poses on the streets of New York City as well and fans showered a lot of love through comments on his post.
