Ajinkya Deo, who is reportedly helming the role of Vishwamitra in Nitesh Tiwari’s Ramayana has recently shared a photo with Ranbir Kapoor. Alongside the photo, Deo wrote, “So now for the clarification on this photo … excited to be doing a stellar role in the film Ramayana a magnum opus with RK and it’s been a wonderful year and a half as I shared the screen first with Neetu Singh Kapoor ma’am then with Karisma Kapoor for a web series and now with Ranbir Kapoor.”
While it hasn’t been officially confirmed, Ranbir Kapoor will helm the role of Lord Ram in the project. Sai Pallavi will star as Sita. Some time back, Zoom obtained pictures from the sets where the duo could be seen dressed up as their characters.
Moreover, some other photos revealed that Arun Govil and Lara Dutta will star as Dasharatha and Kaikeyi respectively. However, when asked, Lara did not confirm the project but showed enthusiasm about it.
