Actress Dia Mirza Rekhi has been an advocate of environment friendly practices for a while now. The actress reveals the efforts that film crews put in to reduce plastic and other kinds of waste while shooting.
Dia states that when the crew of a film travels outdoors, it is their responsibility to keep the surroundings they are in clean. She says, “It is especially important to keep our surroundings clean when we go for outdoor shoots to faraway, pristine places. It is our responsibility to make sure that we don’t pollute these places. Also, on set one must ensure that the entire crew drinks water from dispensers. Reusable cutlery must be used.”
On the work front, Dia will be seen next in Anubhav Sinha directorial IC814: The Kandhar Attack where the actress will be seen sharing screen space with Pankaj Kapur and Vijay Varma among others.
