Will the audience be treated to Heeramandi Season 2 anytime in the future?

Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Heeramandi streamed on OTT this month. It grabbed the attention of the audience with its larger-than life sets, exquisite costumes and melodious songs. With the success of the first season, will SLB roll out a second one?

The director is known for his opulent sets and grand vision proving his amazing film making skills yet again in his latest release. According to a leading media portal, the director clarified that there would be no next season of Heeramandi saying that,  “We have made it, I have enjoyed making it, and I am thankful to God that we made it. It was a very difficult project. Nobody else will ever be able to make Heeramandi again, nor will I be able to make it again, because it happens once.”

Heeramandi received widespread appreciation and love from the audience for the sets, music, costumes and actor’s performances. It revolved around the life struggles of the courtesans in Lahore. The film’s star cast includes Manisha Koirala, Aditi Rao Hydari, Sonakshi Sinha, Richa Chadha, Sanjeeda Sheikh and Sharmin Segal in lead roles.
