Two fans were shot at Guaranteed Rate Field Friday night as the White Sox took on the Athletics, police have confirmed.
According to audio of the 16th & 17th District Chicago Police Scanner on Twitter, one victim was grazed in the stomach and another victim was shot in the leg.
The spectator who was shot in the leg is said to have been transported to the University of Chicago Hospital.
Police said that the bloodshed occurred in section 162, with a third victim left uninjured. Additionally, police said that live rounds were recovered.

The game was finished as the White Sox lost 12-4. It is believed play was not interrupted despite the shooting incident, with the situation inside remaining calm throughout.
As Chicago slumped to defeat, plenty of fans stuck around for a post-game concert meant to feature rapper Vanilla Ice, which was subsequently cancelled.
However, an announcement on the screen at Guaranteed Rate Field put the cancellation down to ‘technical issues’.
Fans were left angry and confused as a result, with one writing on X: ‘Hahah @whitesox cancel Vanilla Ice 90’s postgame concert after losing 12-4. It was the only reason everyone was here at the game.’

A fan named Tom Miller told ABC Chicago that he was sitting two rows behind where the shooting happened.
Miller said that security ushered him and others to section six for around 45 minutes.
According to CBS, detectives could be seen scanning a section of the bleachers for evidence after the game.
Chicago police and a White Sox representative were initially planning to provide an update in a press conference on Friday night, which was later cancelled.
