Michelle Yeoh recently won Best Actress at the 95th Academy Awards, becoming the first Asian woman to win the award. The award was given for the film ‘Everything Everywhere All At Once’.
In a throwback interview, the actress revealed her love for Bollywood’s Mr Perfectionist Aamir Khan. Additionally, she expressed her desire to collaborate with the Bollywood star. Michelle said she has never worked with Aamir Khan, but both of them represent an environmental NGO.
She continued by stating that she was a huge admirer of his work. She asserts that Aamir is a humanitarian in addition to being a remarkable actor. She also hopes that she soon has the chance to work together with him. Michelle was asked if she has watched the superhit film 3 idiots to which she replied, ‘Of course, I don’t think there is anybody who hasn’t seen that’.
Meanwhile, Aamir Khan was most recently seen in Laal Singh Chaddha, an official Hindi adaptation of the Hollywood classic Forrest Gump. The Hindi adaptation underwhelmed audiences and performed poorly at the box office. It also starred Kareena Kapoor Khan in the lead role.
The actor recently took a sabbatical from starring in films and will soon be seen producing the Hindi remake of the Spanish film Campeones. Aamir reportedly approached Salman about playing the lead role in the film. Salman has expressed interest in the script but has not yet committed.
