On the eve of Women’s Day 2021, Nita Mukesh Ambani has launched a new app to empower women and help them build a digital community through just a tap of the phone. With a view to providing a platform of support and camaraderie for women, Reliance Foundation chairperson Nita Ambani has launched an app named ‘Her Circle’. The app aims to empower women of all ages through engaging and comprehensive content. It has been designed specially as a social media network for women that can provide not only a chance for women to connect with like-minded women online but also achieve targeted goal-fulfillment via the digital platform.
No more sexist trolling or worrying about one’s cyber safety. The ‘Her Circle’ app allows women a safe space to connect and talk about issues that really matter.
The news of the launch comes days after the Reliance Foundation said it will bear all costs of Covdid-19 vaccinations for its staff.
In a letter to Reliance Industries Ltd (RIL) employees, Nita Ambani, chairperson and founder of Reliance Foundation, has assured that the conglomerate will bear the entire expense of every staff’s Covid-19 vaccination along with that of immediate family members.
“As per our earlier commitment, Reliance will bear the full cost of vaccination for you, your spouse, your parents, and vaccine-eligible-aged children. You and your family’s safety and well-being are our responsibility,” Nita Ambani said in an internal communication to all RIL employees. The non-executive director has urged employees to register for the government of India’s COVID-19 vaccination program.
