Vulturism picking on Carcass of Journalism

Rajdeep Sardesai, the controversial journalist and a favorite of the Islamo-Leftist ecosystem, continues to degrade journalism by prioritizing propaganda over truth. His latest stunt at the India Today Conclave on March 7 showcased yet another attempt to manipulate public perception against the Indian government. The event featured Satpal Singh, an illegal immigrant deported from the United States, whom Rajdeep Sardesai interviewed with the clear intention of painting him as a victim of oppression and injustice. The interview was nothing more than a desperate attempt to portray the U.S deportation as cruel and bash the Indian government for failing to stand against the United States.

Some sections of the media and political ecosystem have been working overtime to create a misleading narrative that the United States mistreated Indian illegal immigrants and that the Indian government failed to protect them. Instead of addressing the issue of illegal immigration rationally, Rajdeep Sardesai resorted to emotional manipulation, portraying Satpal Singh as an innocent victim of circumstances rather than acknowledging the fundamental truth: illegal immigration is a crime.

Sardesai’s decision to bring an illegal immigrant on stage and treat him like a celebrity was one of the lowest points in Indian journalism. Instead of addressing the legal implications of illegal immigration, he shifted the blame to poverty and circumstances, as if violating immigration laws is justified. Rather than questioning the criminal act of these individuals, Rajdeep Sardesai attempted to label the deportation as inhumane. This agenda is not limited to the United States but through this narrative of portraying illegal immigrants as innocents who are victims of poverty, Rajdeep Sardesai and co are trying to legitimize illegal immigrants residing in India. Incidentally, the cabal has been brazenly defending illegal Bangladeshis, Rohingya Muslims in the Highest courts of India, seeking education and other LEGAL RIGHTs for ILLEGALS.

The fundamental truth remains: illegal immigration is a crime. No country can be expected to allow individuals to enter and reside illegally without consequences. The focus should be on addressing illegal immigration rather than portraying those who violate laws as victims.

The attempt to portray deportation as a diplomatic failure is nothing more than an effort to mislead the public. Every country has strict immigration policies, and those who enter illegally must face the consequences which in many cases include harsher treatment than deportation, i.e., Guantanamo Bay detention camps.

Rajdeep Sardesai’s interview with an illegal immigrant was not journalism, it was a blatant attempt to push a misleading narrative, a way to create sympathises for Illegals and by extension to ROHINGYAs, the major cause for recent spike in crimes in border states. By glorifying lawbreakers and diverting the focus from real issues, he once again proved that his brand of journalism is nothing more than sensationalism serving an agenda.
