The new Ultra phone in the market will have tough competition

Vivo has a slew of mid-range phones in the market but the new Ultra moniker in its lineup will cater to a different audience who don’t like to spend big on phones.

Vivo will soon launch its new T3 Ultra model in India. The company has not announced its launch officially, but details about the ultra-model have resurfaced online. Vivo recently released the T3 Pro 5G smartphone in the country, and the Ultra model is expected to provide more enhancements in the mid-range segment.

After appearing on several certification sites, the new Vivo T3 Ultra has been the focus of countless leaks and rumours, giving us a taste of what to expect from this next one. While the firm has not officially disclosed any information, tipsters have offered crucial data including its launch date, design, RAM, storage capacity, and potential cost.

According to 91Mobiles, the Vivo T3 Ultra is set to be released in India in September. The article, citing industry sources, does not identify a specific date, but says the launch will happen within the first weeks of the month.

In terms of cost, the Vivo T3 Ultra may be priced in India at Rs 30,999 for the 8GB + 128GB edition, while the 8GB + 256GB and 12GB + 256GB variants could be priced at Rs 32,999 and Rs 34,999 where the competition is fierce. Vivo also has its Zeiss Optics camera-totting Vivo 40 in the same range so people will surely have more options.

The Vivo T3 Ultra is believed to be powered by the Mediatek Dimensity 9200+ chipset with up to 12GB of RAM. The T3 Ultra smartphone is believed to include a 6.77-inch curved AMOLED display with 1.5K resolution and a refresh rate of 120Hz. The maximum brightness for the panel is estimated to be 4,500 nits.

The phone could have a primary 50MP Sony IMX921 sensor along with an 8MP ultra-wide angle sensor and a 16MP front-facing camera. It is anticipated that the T3 Ultra will include a 5,500mAh battery and support 80W rapid wired charging. To protect against dust and water infiltration, the smartphone would probably also come with IP68 rating.
