Manchester United fans have delighted in Jadon Sancho‘s £73million arrival at Manchester United, as Rio Ferdinand and Gary Lineker welcomed the Red Devils’ latest signing after Ole Gunnar Solskjaer finally landed his man.
The 21-year-old forward completed a medical at United’s Carrington training base last week and the final negotiations of his transfer from Germany have now been completed.

‘This is a young and exciting squad and I know, together, we can develop into something special to bring the success that the fans deserve.
‘I am looking forward to working with the manager and his coaching team to further develop my game.’

And United legend Ferdinand has reacted to the news of Sancho’s arrival by sharing a new chant for the Englishman.
‘Viva Sancho Viva Sancho Running down the wing Hear United sing Viva Sancho…’ the former defender tweeted to his 10.9m followers.
Gary Lineker said: ‘Very excited to watch this incredibly talented young man play in the Premier League,’ upon learning of Sancho’s arrival.
Sancho’s transfer to United has been a long-running saga, with the club failing to land their man last summer after lengthy negotiations.
United star Bruno Fernandes cheekily said what all fans are thinking in a comment on the club’s Instagram announcement.
‘#sanchoannouncementfinallydone’ the Portuguese midfielder posted. He also tweeted: ‘Welcome to the club @Sanchooo10. I look forward to playing together. Old Trafford are you ready?’

Marcus Rashford also welcomed his national team-mate, tweeting: ‘Yes x Welcome brother’.
Dortmund wished their former player well as he embarks on his new adventure. ‘You came to us as a boy and left as a man,’ the German club tweeted. ‘Thank you, Jadon’.
Solskjaer’s assistant Mike Phelan said that ‘the hard work starts now’ as the experienced coach welcomed United’s latest arrival to the club.

Sancho joins United’s star-studded attack for the 2021-22 campaign. Marcus Rashford, Bruno Fernandes & Co scored 73 goals last season, with only Manchester City scoring more in the league.
And one United fan salivated at the prospect of Sancho linking up with youngster Amad Diallo, who has shown promise when given a chance by Solskjaer.
‘If Amad & Sancho play together it will be scary, but not for us,’ the United supporter wrote alongside a flame emoji.
Another fan said: ‘Welcome to the Biggest Club in the World Sancho. Looking forward to Winning the Premier League in Your First Season.’
