India and Pakistan, which celebrate their Independence Days just a day apart on August 15 and August 14, respectively witnessed their citizens coming together on the streets of London in a rare moment of harmony.
The celebration saw participants from both nations singing popular songs like “Jai Ho” from the Oscar-winning film Slumdog Millionaire and AR Rahman’s rendition of “Vande Mataram.”

The video posted online during a time of ongoing riots in the UK targeting minorities and immigrants, features a musician named Vish leading the diverse crowd. Dressed predominantly in white, the crowd waved flags from India, Pakistan, and the UK, creating a powerful image of unity amidst adversity.
