Vicky Kaushal starrer Chhava is all set to release on the same date as Allu Arjun’s Pushpa 2 in December. Earlier Pushpa 2 was slated to release in August this year, the makers of the film have now pushed the date to December.
Vicky Kaushal’s Chhava is based on the life of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj. The film is all set to release on 6th December this year. Rashmika Mandanna will be seen sharing screen space with the actor in the biopic.
The makers of Allu Arjun’s Pushpa 2 shared the shift in release date of the film saying, “Pushpa 2 The Rule is one of the most anticipated Indian films. Following the success of Pushpa: The Rise, our responsibility to deliver excellence has increased significantly. We have been tirelessly working to complete the movie and release it on time. However, due to the remaining shoot and subsequent post-production work, we will not be releasing the film on August 15, 2024.” The makers announced the new release date to be 6th December making it clash with Vicky Kaushal’s Chhava at the box-office.
