Unseen propagandas of the ‘cult journalist’ Ravish Kumar

Al Jazeera, the Islamist mouthpiece based in Qatar, has published a story claiming that the resignation of propaganda journalist Ravish Kumar raises concerns about press freedom in India. It’s laughable, as the media house operates from a place where it is not allowed to talk about the ongoing anti-Hijab protests in Iran.

Let’s move to our country now. Here the entire left-liberal cabal is busy presenting Ravish Kumar as the martyr, who chose to resign rather than bowing down before the new master. Quotes are being shared, marking Kumar’s resignation as the “black day” for Indian journalism. Ravish Kumar is being hailed as a “journalist with spine who spoke truth to power.” However, as I sit before you, I fail to understand what exactly the courageous Ravish has done, and why the Twitterati are prostrating at his lotus feet.

Ravish Kumar’s resignation was uncalled for

As soon as Prannoy Roy and Radhika Roy resigned from RRPR Holding Pvt. Ltd., the promoter group of NDTV, the star anchor of NDTV, and the man trusted with taking the left’s agenda forward, Ravish Kumar resigned from NDTV.

Adani has not yet taken over the news channel, but it was claimed that Kumar resigned because he chose not to bow before his new master. However, it is not difficult to understand that an anchor’s or editor’s resignation after a change in leadership speaks volumes about the channel’s earlier propaganda.

If Ravish Kumar claims to be a journalist, he must have continued to do so through the same channel until and unless someone interfered with his editorial freedom. But it didn’t happen here because Kumar knew how to milk the situation.

Ravish Kumar: A Propaganda Machine

Ravish Kumar Pandey, commonly known as Ravish Kumar, has always been the flagbearer of the left-liberal cabal; the reason he is being turned into a martyr is the same. No matter how much effort the cabal puts in, it will never be able to whitewash Kumar’s propaganda.

Kumar is guilty of running blatant propaganda in the name of journalism. During the heinous Pulwama attacks, Kumar was one of those shameless people who openly endorsed the vitriol directed at the martyrs by the Caravan Magazine. Ravish then ordered the media to not cover the Indo-Pak border issue, claiming that doing so would help the Bharatiya Janata Party win elections.

During the anti-Hindu Delhi riots, it was Kumar who turned Shahrukh Pathan into Anurag Mishra. He turned a blind eye towards atrocities suffered by the Hindu community and rather indulged in maligning their image.

When the entire nation was mourning the untimely demise of Rohit Sardana, Kumar used the opportunity to question the competency and dedication of Indian doctors who acted as front-line warriors during the COVID pandemic and saved lakhs of lives.

Ravish Kumar is the face of the cabal, which spreads misinformation and brainwashes the farmers into protesting against the revolutionary laws brought in for their benefit. Kumar committed the same with the Agnipath scheme and was held responsible for the violence that erupted due to the Agnipath scheme.

Journalism and Ravish Kumar

Ravish Kumar, while receiving the Ramon Magsaysay award, said that “the Indian media is in a state of crisis which is not accidental or random, but systemic and structural.”

Here is a question for Kumar: If he saw the degradation of journalism, what steps did he take to revive the noble profession? How many ground reports did he actually do in order to bring out the “brutal truth,” as they say?

If Kumar wanted to question the preparedness of the government during COVID, why was he slumbering in his drawing room, recording his prime time bulletins from the comfort of his home, and never going to the ground?

You don’t become a journalist by reading a teleprompter from the comfort of your home, nor do you become a journalist by running an agenda while your loyalty rested at “10 Janpath.” The Kumar Bhakts need to hear this.
