United Announces Its Largest International Schedule For Summer 2024

United Airlines has recently released details of its summer 2024 schedule—the most extensive transatlantic schedule in the major airline’s history. There will be 38 nonstop flights to Europe next year to major European destinations. Some of the flights will be new routes for the airline, which comes after news that the airline has ordered more planes and added benefits for travelers.

United Airlines Summer 2024 Routes

United already has the most transatlantic flights out of all the U.S. airlines. The airline has also added flights to meet consumer demands, such as unique routes to connect college football fans to football games.

It is also the only airline that directly flies from the United States to Dubrovnik, Malaga, Mallorca, and Tenerife.

New York To Faro, Portugal

United already flies to more destinations in Portugal than any other U.S. airline. The airline has service from New York/Newark to Lisbon available throughout the year.

Beginning May 24, 2024, United will fly from New York Newark, to Faro, Portugal, becoming the first and only airline to connect the two destinations. With four flights a week, this option opens up Portugal’s Algarve area, which has some of the country’s most stunning beaches.

Other seasonal flights include Washington Dulles to Lisbon, New York Newark to Porto, and New York Newark to Ponta Delgada, Azores.

East Coast To Iceland

Other seasonal flights will resume operation from the east coast to parts of Europe. Beginning on May 23, 2024, daily flights from New York Newark to Reykjavik, Iceland will begin.

Twice Daily Flights To Be Added To European Cities

On March 30, 2024, another flight will be added to the daily operation between New York Newark and Brussels, Belguim.

New York Newark to Malaga, Spain, will also become a daily flight, starting May 2, 2024.

Another daily flight from Washington Dulles to Rome, Italy will also be added, beginning May 23, 2024.
