This New Luxury Resort In Seychelles Comes With Its Own Superyacht Parking

Located in the Indian Ocean, off East Africa, the Seychelles main islands include; Mahé, Praslin, and La Digue. They are famous for their stunning UNESCO World Heritage Sites, warm weather, and white sand beaches. Yacht lovers enjoy cruising through the 115 islands and have made the area one of the world’s top superyacht destinations as an alternative to the crowded Caribbean.

Now there is something else to celebrate, and that is the opening of L’Escale Resort Marina & Spa, a brand new boutique resort on the property of what was once the site of the Wharf Hotel. It is the only Resort in Seychelles with its own Marina to accommodate Superyachts parked right in front.

Located only 10 minutes away from Seychelles International Airport, the resort is on mainland Mahé and close to Eden Island. Imagined by acclaimed London superyacht and villa experts, Winch Design, its architecture and interior style, is all about Superyacht luxury with its clean lines, nautical touches, and locally sourced tropical hardwood that supports the spirit of the island in every space. The resort marks Winch Design’s debut into the luxury resort sector, with L’Escale setting as their first boutique hotel project.

With only 25 suites, the Resort features a range of luxury options; the Spa Pool Villas each have two bedrooms, private decks, and plunge pools, and also offer private Butler Service. The 4,000sf Penthouse is located on the top floor of the main building and includes a separate living and dining room positioned between two spacious bedrooms, each with its own ensuite bathroom and head-on ocean views. It also comes with its own kitchen and butler area, and a Private Chef can be provided during your stay.

The 7,000sf Presidential Villa is located in its own two-story building with stunning design, in-house amenities, and services. The 4,000sf Royal Suite occupies the entire top floor of the Resort, with a second bedroom, also offering its own large living space. The suite also includes a private elevator and a large outside deck with a private infinity pool and Jacuzzi.

The 10,000sf, two-story Spa includes two treatment rooms, steam room, hammam, sauna, Rasul (thermal mud treatment), heated infinity pool, Jacuzzi, and relaxation areas. The Spa building includes a gym and yoga room and also offers up a private nurse for any medical needs. The spa villas are located in the rear of the hotel, traversed through Japanese Garden walkways and tropical palms. The entrance to the Spa is through a candle-lit tunnel to the main reception. The Resort offers a gourmet restaurant overlooking the Marina featuring international cuisine featuring a refreshing Creole touch. Guests can recline in the gorgeous day beds around the main swimming pool and open-air sunken juice bar, or they can enjoy the beautiful Eden Holistic Spa surrounded by Zen gardens.

But it is the addition of the beautiful private Marina that is the ultimate amenity and becomes one of the few places that caters to Superyachts. The Marina has the capacity to berth around 19 vessels, with a maximum length of 328 feet, providing state-of-the-art pontoons. The Marina also includes facilities for power, water, and black water discharge service.
