Although much of the U.S. is in different phases of opening,  many of you are spending time where there is more space and air, especially those who can still WFH or anywhere you can do your job with a computer, a phone and virtual meetings. Some of you might also be taking weekends off and fleeing the city for a more outdoorsy and quieter life. And, lately you might be looking at jewelry online that would suit your summer lifestyle. There are many relaxed looks in jewelry that will accent time spent in the country or time spent at the beach.

The Nature Girl might be tucked away in the mountains or the countryside, puttering in the garden, going on hikes, going to picnic areas that are spread out to socially distance. Her jewelry needs to be laid back yet reflect her love of flowers, trees, and the rolling green of the simple life. She wears earrings that when in public won’t interfere with her mask.

The Beachcomber  prefers the serene and calming blues of the ocean, her feet warm in the sand as she searches for sea glass and shells, watching the tide roll in and feeling the spray of saltwater mist over her. She’s drawn to marine life and it manifests itself it the jewelry she wears.

Here are some jewels for the laid back summer days:

The trillium flower was the inspiration for Gabriella’s Kiss’ interpretation of these dedicated flowers crafted in 14K green gold. They have presence while still resting close on the ear, easy and comfortably.

Brooke Gregson’s carved florals are a refreshing springtime addition to any jewelry wardrobe. Here is her simple yet artfully cared  18K yellow ring 2.5-carat pink tourmaline flower and three white diamonds.

Lily Fitzgerald starts with finding unusual and beautiful stones and then sets them so they can stand out and be the center of the jewel’s attention. This dendrite agate heart is set into an unassuming 22K gold bezel on an 18K yellow gold beaded ball chain.

Ananya’s 18K gold lotus earrings feature a feminine take and a pop of vibrant color while also offering relevant meaning—lotuses are for new beginnings. And don’t we need a few of those?

Annette Ferdinandsen has consistently planted a garden of floral delights. Here is one of her more streamlined styles—a 14K medium rose petal with a diamond  in rose gold.

Lene Vibe is inspired by the fairytales of her youth growing up and traipsing through the forest in her home in Denmark. As a gardener, she knows firsthand how flowers move, sway and ben with the wind. She captures this in each of her collections which are hand fabricated. These 18K gold and diamond flower studs feel as if they were plucked from an enchanted land, where all things are wondrous and fantastical.

Brent Neale’s wild flower earrings are comprised of 18K yellow gold, emeralds, diamonds and citrine look like they are growing in a field. They are stylistic interpretations—reflecting how designer views these foloral designs.
