The first full-length trailer of The Night Manager – Anil Kapoor and Aditya Roy Kapur’s highly anticipated upcoming series is out. The show is the official Hindi remake of the British series of the same name starring Hugh Laurie and Tom Hiddleston. Its plot revolves around a former soldier and night manager of a hotel who gets recruited to infiltrate an arms dealer’s circle.
The trailer opens with explosions. It sees Aditya Roy Kapur’s Shantanu Sengupta who plays the titular night manager who. He soon gets drawn into a mission to bring down a dangerous arms dealer – Anil Kapoor’s Shailendra. His covert mission gets murky as he gets closer to the man he’s tasked with spying on.
The trailer teases an intense, action-packed ride as Anil Kapoor and Aditya Roy Kapur suit up for action. The clip also offers a closer look at Sobhita Dhulipala and Tillotama Shome’s characters.
The official logline reads – A dreaded arms dealer, a night manager and a dangerous game of love and betrayal – it’s showtime!
While the show takes its liberties from the source text and original British series, Aditya Roy Kapur is stepping into Tom Hiddleston’s role while Anil Kapoor will play Hugh Laurie’s part.
The Night Manager marks Aditya Roy Kapur and Anil Kapoor’s digital series debut. The two have shared screen space before in Malang.
The Night Manager will arrive on February 17 on OTT.
