The Archies trailer: Suhana Khan, Khushi Kapoor, Agastya Nanda & co. band…

The full-length trailer of The Archies is finally out. Directed by Zoya Akhtar, the film features the debut of Shah Rukh Khan’s daughter Suhana Khan, Boney Kapoor and the late Sridevi’s daughter Khushi Kapoor and Amitabh Bachchan’s grandson Agastya Nanda, alongside Vedang Raina, Mihir Ahuja, Yuvraj Menda and Aditi Dot.

The trailer takes us into Riverdale of the ’60s where teenagers Archie, Betty, Veronica, Jughead, Dilton, Ethel, Moose and others spend their time skating, dancing and romancing. Their idyllic life in the hill station changes when Veronica’s father begins to take over with his business expansion plans. We then see the gang team up to protect their home.

The Archies is the Indian adaptation of the popular Archie comics.

Zoya Akhtar’s film retains key elements from the source and incorporates activism to make the story relevant to Gen-Z and millennials while serving nostalgia to readers of the comic books.
