Telugu actor Chandra Mohan passes away at 82


Veteran Telugu actor and comedian Chandra Mohan, aged 82, passed away today at 9:45 am in a private hospital in Jubilee Hills, Hyderabad. He had been receiving treatment for heart-related ailments and succumbed to a cardiac arrest. The news of his demise has deeply saddened the entire Telugu film fraternity.

Chandra Mohan is survived by his wife and two daughters. It’s worth mentioning that he is the cousin of veteran filmmaker K. Vishwanath. The final rites for Chandra Mohan have been scheduled for Monday, November 13.

Chandra Mohan, a former Indian actor, garnered extensive acclaim and popularity for his contributions to Telugu cinema. His notable achievements include a Filmfare Award South. Recognised for his stellar performance in box office hits like Rangula Ratnam, he also made his Tamil film debut with Naalai Namadhe, alongside MGR.
