The Swedish royal family had some extra special guests at their Royal Palace in Stockholm today – the World Cup bronze medallists.
Crown Princess Victoria, Prince Carl Philip, Princess Estelle and Prince Oscar looked overjoyed to receive the footballers.
The royals beamed as they entered the room, with Princess Victoria and Princess Estelle pictured looking rather star-stuck.
In the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup, Sweden won bronze again for the fourth time. They have reached the semi-finals five times and have only made it to the final once in 2003, where they were beaten by Germany.

Princess Victoria, 46, looked elegant in a navy maxi dress with puffed sleeves which she paired with open-toe heels and a necklace of the Swedish flag.
Prince Oscar, seven, sported a pair of blue shorts and a Swedish football shirt for the occasion, which featured the colours of their flag – yellow and blue.
Princess Estelle, who is second-in-line to the throne, donned a subtle, muted orange button-up frock. And Prince Carl Philip, 44, looked dapper in a navy suit, blue tie and polished shoes.
The football team gathered around as they were greeted by Crown Princess Victoria and her two children.
Their dog Rio, a Poodle and a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel cross, even made an appearance.
Princess Estelle, 11, smiled as she was snapped next to midfielder and current captain of the national football team Caroline Seger, Olivia Schough and Jonna Andersson.
Meanwhile north of Stockholm King Carl XVI Gustaf and Queen Silvia went on a royal visit to Gavle County in Sweden to mark the King’s 50th Jubilee.

The Ukrainian couple were welcomed by the Swedish royals at Stenhammar Palace in Flen, southwest of Stockholm on Saturday.
President Zelensky and his wife Olena then moved onto Denmark, where they were received by Crown Princess Mary on Sunday.
