Sunny Leone gets emotional as Kennedy receives a seven-minute standing…


Kennedy, a film by director Anurag Kashyap, had a global premiere at the 76th Cannes Film Festival. The audience at the Grand Lumiere Theatre gave the movie a seven-minute standing ovation.

The festival’s YouTube channel posted a video from the location where the film’s stars, Rahul Bhat and Sunny Leone, became emotional as the audience applauded, and Anurag had a big smile on his face. The team expressed gratitude to everybody in attendance. “You did it,” Sunny congratulated Anurag, adding, “Yeah, I’m not crying.”

The group embraced and complemented one another. Anurag approached filmmaker Sudhir Mishra and touched his feet. They then exchanged hugs. Kennedy was inspired by a story Sudhir told Anurag many years ago.

Kennedy was screened in a midnight screening at the Cannes Film Festival 2023. Kennedy is directed by Anurag Kashyap and stars Rahul Bhat, Sunny Leone, and Abhilash Thapliyal in prominent roles.
