Ace filmmaker was admitted to Lilavati Hospital in Mumbai after experiencing health complications. The 79-year-old director and producer was reportedly rushed to the ICU on Wednesday after experiencing respiratory issues, weakness, and dizziness.
As per reports on a leading news portal, Subhash Ghai was under the care of a team of doctors, including neurologist Dr. Vijay Chaudhary, cardiologist Dr. Nitin Gokhale, and pulmonologist Dr. Jalil Parkar. The report also maintained that his condition has been improving since his hospitalisation.
Ghai is expected to be shifted from the ICU to the general ward in a day.
Subhash Ghai is credited with directing several blockbuster films that define Hindi cinema, including Taal, Ram Lakhan, Karz, Mei Jung, Karma and more. Here’s wishing him a speedy recovery.
