A new trailer of Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse, the sequel to Spider-Man: Into the Spider-verse is out. The CGI-animated film promises to pack in more breathtaking visuals in a wild ride.
The trailer of Across the Spider-Verse opens with Miles (voiced by Shameik Moore) having a conversation with his mom before he’s launched into a multiversal ride. Among the highlights are Spidey 2099 (voiced by Oscar Issac), a pregnant Spider-Woman (voiced by Issa Raye), Peter B. Parker as a father and more. In one mind-boggling scene, Miles is tossed into a crowd of Spideys.

The film’s synopsis reads, “Miles Morales returns for the next chapter of the Oscar-winning Spider-Verse saga, Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse. After reuniting with Gwen Stacy, Brooklyn’s full-time, friendly neighbourhood Spider-Man is catapulted across the Multiverse, where he encounters a team of Spider-People charged with protecting its very existence. But when the heroes clash on how to handle a new threat, Miles finds himself pitted against the other Spiders and must redefine what it means to be a hero so he can save the people he loves most.”
As teased in the trailer, Across the Spider-Verse will see Miles get together with Gwen Stacy aka Spider-Gwen (voiced by Hailee Steinfeld) for an all-new adventure filled with Spidey variants. The film is directed by Joaquim Dos Santos, Kemp Powers and Justin K. Thompson.
Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse is set to release on June 2, 2023. Meanwhile, the next sequel – Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse will be released on March 29, 2024.
