Ahead of the Parliament, the Bharatiya Janata Party-led Centre has called an all-party meeting on Sunday. The agenda for the special session is likely to be discussed during the all-party meeting.

A meeting is underway at Union Defence Minister Rajnath Singh’s house on the upcoming Parliament Session, sources told News18.

Union Ministers Arjun Meghwal, Prahlad Joshi, Mansukh Mandaviya, Piyush Goyal, Anurag Thakur, and Ashwini Vaishnav are present at the meeting.

Earlier this month, Union Minister for Parliamentary Affairs, Pralhad Joshi announced that the government has called a five-day special session of Parliament from September 18 till September 22.

As per sources, the special session will begin at the old building and then be shifted to the new Parliament building on September 19 on Ganesh Chaturthi, which is considered auspicious for making new beginnings.

According to an internal circular issued by the Lok Sabha Secretariat, a new dress code with floral motifs for Parliament staff has been issued which they have to don once the new parliament building starts functioning.
