SpaceX’s Falcon Heavy rocket successfully launched the JUPITER 3 broadband communications satellite into orbit on Friday. The satellite is built by Maxar Technologies and is the largest commercial communications satellite ever built. The 9-metric-ton satellite will expand the reach of the HughesNet satellite internet service to nearly 80 percent of the population across the Americas.
