Instead of a regular coffee shop, the cafe in South Korea has a cool design that feels straight out of Christopher Nolan’s Interstellar.
South Korean Cafe offers many choices, but its desserts are loved by visitors.
Ever wondered what cafes of the future might look like? In South Korea, this cafe offers a glimpse, and its design feels like something straight out of Christopher Nolan’s Interstellar.
This futuristic eatery is gaining attention not just for its unique look but also for its delicious menu. Among the favourites are the “Forest,” a green chocolate mousse cake topped with white pavlova priced at 12,000 Won (about Rs 700), and “Water,” a delicate jelly that melts in your mouth, costing 9,000 Won (around Rs 500).
Taking to Instagram, a user wrote, “This is a futuristic cafe space. From the moment you step inside until the moment you leave, you’ll feel as if you’ve entered a scene from a movie. The cafe is divided into four sections, and each area itself feels like a work of art. The nature-inspired desserts are another highlight. Forest, featuring a green chocolate mousse cake topped with a white pavlova and Water, expressed with a delicate water jelly, was especially memorable.”
The video displayed the text, “Korea is really living in 2050. Interstellar Cafe.”
After the rise of K-pop and K-dramas, South Korea has become a hotspot not just for music and shows, but also for its innovative food and creative cafes. While the space-themed cafe recently caught everyone’s attention online, it’s not the first Korean cafe to go viral. Earlier, the rain-themed Rain Report Cafe in Seoul also made waves. This unique cafe offers a full rain experience from the moment you step inside, greeted by the soothing sound of raindrops that sets a peaceful mood. Water plays a key role in the design, with visible dripping and flowing throughout the space.
The most fascinating feature of Rain Report Cafe is that it “rains” indoors constantly, regardless of the weather outside. Even on hot, sunny days, the cafe maintains a soothing, rainy atmosphere.
