When the national lockdown hit towards the end of March in 2020, India found a superhero in Sonu Sood. The actor came forward with such initiative that he put even the biggest of stars to shame. Sood was on the ground helping migrant laborers reach home and providing food and succour to those in need. Since then, Sood has become a national icon of sorts with people turning to him in the hopes that he’ll help them out. On Monday, a fan asked the actor to sponsor his wedding. “Sir aap shaadi karwa denge kya (Sir, would you get me married)?” the fan asked. “Kyun nahin.. shaadi ke liye mantra bhi padh dunga! Buss ladki dhoodne ka kasht aap kar le (Why not? Will read the matras at the wedding as well. Just take the trouble of finding a girl),” Sood said, jokingly.
