NEW DELHI: BJP leader Sonali Phogat died on Tuesday morning in Goa. The BJP leader from Haryana was a Tik Tok star and had also participated in Big Boss.
Here is what we know so far:
* According to initial reports, Sonali Phogat died of a heart attack
* Phogat was at Goa’s Anjuna beach
* She was brought dead at the St Anthony Hospital in Anjuna area of North Goa district
* Her family members alleged foul play
* An autopsy conducted on Thursday revealed “multiple blunt injuries” on her body
* Based on the autopsy report, the police registered a murder case against two associates of Phogat
* Police have now arrested the two, Sudhir Sagwan and Sukhwinder Wasi
The family has also alleged that one of Phogat’s aides had sexually assaulted her, around three years ago, after spiking her food. The Goa police are conducting a detailed investigation in the case, said CM Pramod Sawant.
