The makers of the horror-cinematic universe which includes Stree, Roohi and Bhediya, announced the release date for Stree 2, shared details regarding Bhediya 2 and announced a new Vampire film at a star-studded event on Wednesday.
Stree, the most popular movie in the horror-comedy genre, is getting ready for a sequel called Stree 2. The sequel is scheduled to premiere on August 31, 2024. It is expected that principal photography will begin later this year. Rajkummar Rao, Shraddha Kapoor, Pankaj Tripathi, Aparshakti Khurana, and Abhishek Banerjee will reprise their roles.
At the event, Varun Dhawan took to the stage and announced that he will be returning in his wolf avatar with Bhediya 2. He also revealed that the film will be released in 2025.
Meanwhile, Dinesh Vijan also revealed that they are currently working on a vampire-themed film that also is part of the universe. Ayushmann Khurrana was rumoured to be the star of the vampire film last year.
