Rohit Shetty, known for his expertise in creating cop dramas, is gearing up to expand his cop universe by introducing the formidable presence of Shilpa Shetty in the upcoming series Indian Police Force. The trailer presents Shilpa as a Shero, teasing an exceptional performance that has generated high anticipation among fans for the show. In a recent interview with a leading entertainment portal, Shilpa Shetty shared that she was previously approached to star in Golmaal almost 14 years ago.
Shilpa revealed that she waa supposed to work with Rohit 14 years ago when he approached her for Golmaal. However, she had won Big Brother at the time and was travelling. She recalled feelimg disappointed and wishing she could star in the movie.
Shilpa revealed that her father had helped Rohit’s father, Muddu Babu Shetty, in the movie Yaadon Ki Baaraat. Surendra Shetty, Shilpa’s father, was a member of the stunt team in Yaadon Ki Baaraat and Rafoo Chakkar.
Indian Police Force guarantees to be a thrilling experience, packed with action, suspense, and drama. Created and directed by Rohit Shetty, the cop action drama also signifies his streaming debut in a production featuring Shilpa Shetty, Sidharth Malhotra and Vivek Oberoi in leading roles. The talented ensemble cast includes Shweta Tiwari, Nikitin Dheer, Rituraj Singh, Mukesh Rishi, and Lalit Parimoo in significant roles.
The show is set to premiere on January 19, 2024.
