Bollywood superstar Salman Khan, despite being in his 50s, is one of the country’s most eligible bachelors. The actor has been linked to various actresses in the past such as Katrina Kaif, Jacqueline Fernandez and Sangeeta Bijlani. Unfortunately, it seems like the relationships did not reach the marriage level.
Recently, it came to be known that actress Sharmin Segal who is director Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s niece had turned down the Sultan actor’s proposal. In a recent interview, Sharmin recalled that when she was just 2 or 3 years old, she met Salman on the sets of Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam who had jokingly asked her, “Will you marry me?” to which she responded with a laugh, “No!”
However, Sharmin did go on to admit that she still fangirls over Salman, especially while watching O O Jane Jana from Pyaar Kiya To Darna Kya. She said that at that age she obviously did not understand the meaning of marriage and said no to everything.
Sharmin Segal made her debut with Malaal opposite Meezaan Jafri which brought her a nomination for the Filmfare Award for Best Female Debut. Right now, Sharmin is in the news because of the release of her recent magnum opus project Heeramandi which is directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali.
