Yesterday, Shah Rukh Khan made headlines when news of the actor purchasing the Los Angeles Franchise in the upcoming Major League Cricket tournament in the US broke out.
After a successful run as owner of the Kolkata Knight Riders in the Indian Premier League, the actor purchased a team in the Caribbean Premier League. But, he clearly has bigger plans in mind and the same is evident with this purchase. The team will tentatively be named as Los Angeles Knight Riders keeping the franchise philosophy in mind. SRK also released an official statement in regards to his purchase. He said, “For several years now, we have been expanding the Knight Riders brand globally and closely watching the potential for T20 cricket in the USA.”
SRK clearly is a man with a plan.
