The second day at the lavish Ambani witnessed a nostalgic reunion of the Khans – Salman, Shah Rukh and Aamir on the stage. The trio attempted to perform the hook step from the RRR song Naatu Naatu by Ram Charan and Jr. NTR. At one point, Ram Charan came on stage with them and they all performed the song’s hook dance together.
Shah Rukh Khan asked Ram Charan to join the trio to perform the hook step of the song. However, an amusing comment King Khan made about calling Ram “idli” provoked a backlash from internet users. In jest, he blurted out a few phrases that seemed to be in Telugu or Tamil. Pinkvilla posted a video of the same thing on Instagram where Ram Charan’s make-up artist Zeba Hassan commented, “I’m a huge SRK fan, but I really disliked the way he called Ram Charan on stage.”

Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘idli’ remark wasn’t too pleasing for the internet. Netizens expressed their disappointment and also dropped thumbs-down emojis in the comment section. One of the users wrote, “All these Khans are useless. He doesn’t know difference between Telugu and Tamil. Will he accept if he is called Vadapav Khan or something?! He’s just growing by numbers but not by manners. Not sure how much he’s got paid for the wedding.” Another user wrote, “#RamCharan knows who is good guy and who is bad guy in industry. This srk guy always disrespect other stars so he can feel like king lol. Look at face of Ramcharan with #AkshayKumar and his face after srk call him idli sambhar guy come here.”
Zeba Hassan, Upasana’s makeup artist, expressed her dissatisfaction on Instagram and emphasized the contempt that these comments have caused for Ram Charan. She claimed that after witnessing such disregard for Ram Charan, she left the gathering. She reshared a video of Ram Charan and wrote, ” Bhend idly vada Ram charan kahan hai tu??? I walked out after this. So disrespectful towards a star like @alwaysramcharan.”
