Satyajit Ray’s Pather Panchali to premiere as the G20 Film Festival…


Satyajit Ray was a visionary and to date, his work is celebrated all across the globe. He left behind a rich tapestry of incredible films, one of them being Pather Panchali.

As per the latest reports on a leading entertainment portal, it has been announced that Satyajit Ray’s Pather Panchali has been picked for the opening of the G20 Film Festival to celebrate the vast collaborative partnership between G20 and the countries invited in the world of cinema.

The event has been put together by the India International Centre and the G20 Secretariat of the Ministry of External Affairs. It will be inaugurated by G20 Sherpa Amitabh Kant and the respected veteran actor Victor Banerjee.

The other films being screened at the prestigious festival will be Aristocrats from Japan, Decision to Leave from South Korea, Ana. Untitled from Brazil, Mezquite’s Heart from Mexico and We are Still Here from Australia.
