The much-awaited film Tiger vs Pathaan, starring Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan, might face a delay in its release. Earlier reports suggested that Salman and Shah Rukh would start shooting for Tiger vs Pathaan after the release of their respective movies Tiger 3 and Dunki. However, it seems like the makers are planning to take some more time to develop the film. According to a new update, the film is now expected to go into production in 2025 and release in 2026.
According to a report by a leading news portal Tiger vs Pathaan which was originally scheduled to go on floors in 2023 will begin filming in 2025 and will be released in 2026. Aditya Chopra has decided to personally take some time to revise the script and provide the audience with an improved plot. After Siddharth Anand completes post-production on his film Fighter, Aditya will collaborate with the director to enhance the current version of the script.
Additionally, the source mentioned that Tiger is the highest-ranking spy in the YRF Spy Universe, and the goal is to present it in a manner that captivates the audience. Aditya Chopra is aware that there will be immense anticipation for the face-off between Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan in Tiger vs Pathaan.
According to reports, Shah Rukh Khan had a conversation with Aditya Chopra and shared his ideas about a project. The source mentioned that Shah Rukh holds the YRF Spy Universe close to his heart as it helped establish his action image through his role in Pathaan. He assured Aditya that he was ready to shoot the film whenever the script was ready. Meanwhile, Shah Rukh will reportedly be busy shooting for The King.
