Salim Khan, father of Salman Khan, has responded to the gunfire incident near Salman Khan’s residence in Mumbai.
After two unidentified men were fired at Salman Khan’s Galaxy Apartment, the actor’s father Salim Khan finally talked about the incident. Speaking with CNN News18, Salim Khan said there is nothing to worry about. On Sunday around 5 am when two unidentified motorbike persons opened fire outside Salman Khan’s Bandra residence. Post the incident, Maharashtra CM Eknath Shinde also called up the actor to take the stroll of the situation. Meanwhile, Salman Khan is yet to speak on the matter.
Reports indicate that three shots were discharged into the air. After the occurrence, security around Salman’s residence has been heightened. A case has been filed against the unidentified individuals linked to the firing incident. According to police sources, a 7.62 weapon was utilized.
The motorcyclists reportedly proceeded towards the Western Express Highway, with speculation that they may have left Mumbai. Additionally, police sources suggest that the shooters are not from Maharashtra. The Mumbai Police have commenced efforts to apprehend the perpetrators by scrutinizing CCTV footage.
Meanwhile, Raj Tilak Roushan, DCP Mumbai, told news agency ANI, “Today at around 5 am, two unidentified people opened fire outside the house of actor Salman Khan in Bandra. Police have received information about 3 rounds of firing. A case has been registered and an investigation is underway in the case.” He also said that no one was injured in the incident.
The Mumbai police have located the motorcycle of the two individuals involved in the shooting. The Forensics Team is currently analyzing the motorcycle. Last year, Salman Khan received threat death threat from Canada-based fugitive gangster Goldy Brar, who openly said that Salman Khan was on his hit list. Before, Mumbai police filed an FIR against gangsters Lawrence Bishnoi and Goldy Brar, for sending threatening emails to Salman Khan.
