Saif Ali Khan has been doing some interesting roles over the past few years. And now, he is set to star in the Indian adaptation of The Bridge, a popular Nordic drama that has been adapted into several languages. He is also on board as producer for the series.
The Bridge is a Danish/Swedish show that revolves around a joint investigation that is launched after a dead body is discovered on the border between two countries. While little is known about Saif’s role, we do know that he will play a character named Martin.
As per reports in a leading news portal, Saif Ali Khan opened up about the project saying, “As an actor and producer, this is the one-of-a-kind opportunity that one waits for. It is a story that has been adapted the world over and loved by audiences, irrespective of their geographies.”
The Bridge is Saif Ali Khan’s next foray into the OTT space after hit series like The Sacred Games and Tandav.
Saif Ali Khan was last seen in Vikram Vedha which also featured Hrithik Roshan in the lead role. He will soon be seen in Om Raut’s Adipurush. The mythological drama is led by Prabhas and Kriti Sanon.
