Body image issues are very much real and it only gets worse the more time you spend on social media. Hence, one can imagine the effect it has on people who live in the limelight, consciously or unconsciously. Take Rhea Kapoor, for example. The film producer shared a stunning image of herself from the Maldives. Kapoor is dressed in an olive bikini and the sunlight does her skin complete justice. However, in the caption, she mentions that she considered herself “fat” for a very long time.
“I thought I was fat. We can never win with ourselves can we? But we can try. Like Tina Fey says “If you retain nothing else, always remember the most important rule of beauty, which is: who cares?” Kapoor wrote. Her pals were right there to support her – Jacqueline Fernandez dropped a “hottest bod I’ve seen in a while” in the comments while Kapoor’s beau, Karan Boolani looked ready to pass out (if the emojis he posted under his picture are any indication of his condition). Kapoor has co-produced successful films like Aisha, Khoobsurat and Veere Di Wedding and is also noted for styling her sister, Sonam Kapoor who is known to turn things up with her sartorial choices. The Kapoor sisters also run an apparel brand called Rheson.
