Maitreyi Ramakrishnan, who starred in Never Have I Ever, responded after Rashmika Mandanna complimented her for dancing to Saami Saami from Pushpa. Rashmika shared a fan’s tweet on Twitter along with a scene from the programme. The video is from the fourth season of the show.
Since the character is an Indian-American Tamil girl, the song on which Devi performed was the dubbed Tamil version of Saami Saami. Twitter users reposted the video with the following caption:”I am not kidding but I was actually surprised during this scene when the song started playing Allu Arjun mass I was so much overjoyed. #NeverHaveIEverS4 #AlluArjun.”
Sharing the tweet, Rashmika wrote: “@ramakrishnannn.. stunner! You did sooooo gooooooddddd. sending you full love.” Afterwards, Maitreyi tweeted in response to Rashmika’s post: “I will NEVER have imposter syndrome about dancing again. Thank you so much @iamRashmika.”
The show is a comedy about a young first-generation Indian American woman’s complex life in current times. Devi, a high school student with great expectations and a temper flares, is portrayed in the series by Maitreyi. Mindy Kaling and Lang Fisher are the executive producers of Never Have I Ever. Never Have I Ever’s last season is regarded as the show’s funniest and wittiest yet also one of its most uplifting. On June 8, it premiered on OTT.
