The trailer for Ranbir Kapoor’s highly anticipated film Animal has been unveiled and it has garnered a positive reception from the viewers. Helmed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, the movie also features Rashmika Mandanna, Anil Kapoor, and Bobby Deol in prominent roles. At the trailer launch event in Delhi, Ranbir fondly remembered his late father, actor Rishi Kapoor and discussed his preparations for the character.
At the launch event, Ranbir shared details about how he prepared for his role and revealed that he had requested a reference for the film as he had never experienced anything like it before.
He said, “I think eventually sub-consciously mujhe mere papa ki yaad aa gayi…I think jis tareeke se vo baat karte the, he was a very passionate aggressive man.”
Animal is directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga and follows Arjun Singh’s troubled relationship with his father Balbir Singh, played by Anil Kapoor. It is scheduled to be released on December 1, 2023, coinciding with Vicky Kaushal’s Sam Bahadur.
