Ranbir Kapoor to lead Dhoom 4? Here’s what we know


Ranbir Kapoor’s recent performance in Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s Animal garnered him praises from fans and critics alike, and if recent reports are to be believed, the actor is going to be a part of one of the most popular Bollywood film franchises – Dhoom. Yes, you heard that right.

Reports are doing the rounds suggesting that Ranbir Kapoor has entered the pre-production stage at YRF under the supervision of Aditya Chopra. Discussions have been going on with Ranbir for the longest time and the actor always showed interested to be a part of the franchise, and now he will be leading it. Aditya Chopra reportedly feels that Ranbir is the perfect choice to take the franchise forward.

Ranbir Kapoor Dhoom 4

Dhoom was released in 2004 and it became an instant hit for its story telling, plots and twists, action scenes and music. The first part was led by John Abraham, Abhishek Bachchan and Uday Chopra. In 2006, Hrithik Roshan came on board as the antagonist and the third instalment saw Aamir Khan in the lead.

 

Dhoom 4 is expected to go on floors by the end of 2025 or early 2026. Meanwhile, Ranbir Kapoor will also be seen in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Love and War with Alia Bhatt and Vicky Kaushal.
