Rana Daggubati proposed to girlfriend Miheeka Bajaj just a few days before the lockdown was announced in the entire nation and that surely affected their spirits for a while. However, the couple decided to do functions with their family members in attendance. Rana and Miheeka got their parents to meet and decide the further plan of action in what is called the Roka ceremony on May 21, 2020. The pictures of the couple soon went viral on the internet. Then again there were pictures of Miheeka from their engagement ceremony during the lockdown. Many reports suggested that the couple will postpone their wedding due to the nationwide bandh, but seems like the two are unaffected by it and want to get married as soon as possible. A source told a leading daily, “Contrary to rumours, the wedding is not postponed. It will happen on August 8, as per plan,”
Rana Daggubati’s father Suresh Babu had earlier confirmed in an interview that the wedding will happen in Hyderabad in the presence of family members from both the sides. He had also assured that all safety measures will be kept in mind during the celebration.
