Arun Govil, Deepika Chikhlia and Sunil Lahri, who are popularly known for their iconic characters of Lord Ram, goddess Sita and Lakshman in the OG Ramayan are all set for the grand inauguration of the Ram Mandir. The celebs have reached Ayodhya today (January 17) and have given a glimpse of their journey on social media.
Actors Arun Govil, Deepika Chikhlia and Sunil Lahri are in Ayodhya ahead of the Ram Mandir inauguration on January 22.Many popular celebrities along with PM Narendra Modi and the CMs have been invited for the inauguration ceremony of the most awaited Ram Mandir.
A video of Arun Govil, Deepika Chikhlia and Sunil Lahri is surfacing on the internet where they can be seen in their traditional yellow and red outfit walking on the streets on Ayodhya. While Dipika can be seen in a beautiful and elegant red saree, Arun and Sunil, on the other hand kept it simple in a traditional yellow kurta.

In an exclusive interview with ETimes TV, Dipika opened up about her journey in Ramayan. She said, “Ramayan is almost ancient now. Ram, Sita Ji and Ramayan are something that I’m still identified with it. This started as a television serial. I was working with the Sagars on Dada Dadi. And then post that I got to work with Vikram Betal with Prem Sagar. And I was known as the most beautiful princess on television. That’s how I got recognized with both of those serials.”

Sunil Lahri, on the other hand, reacted to finally receiving an invite for the inaugural ceremony of Ram Mandir. He said, “I am really thankful to God and the people and my fans too wished me that I should get the invitation. With the blessings of Lord Rama their prayer has been answered.”
The grand inauguration of Ram Mandir is on 22nd January.
