Ram Mandir Pran Pratishtha: Indians in Silicon Valley hold car rally, Tesla light show

A massive rally was organised by Indians living in California’s Silicony Valley to celebrate the Ram Mandir ‘Pran Pratishtha’ ceremony in Ayodhya. The rally was taken from Sunnyvale to Warm Spring BART station, Golden Gate, followed by a spectacular Tesla car light show on Saturday evening.

Over 1,100 people participated in the event, with several enthusiasts carrying saffron flags bearing Lord Ram’s image on their vehicles. Many digital billboard trucks highlighting different parts of the Ramayana and bearing Lord Ram’s image were also part of the rally.

The rally, organised by six Hindu volunteers, covered a distance of over 150 km and concluded in Fremont in Bay Area.

The Tesla light show with over 300 cars, which was the main highlight of the event, dazzled the crowd. Several participants even coordinated through online apps so that they could join the rally from other cities.

The grand consecration ceremony of Ram Mandir in Ayodhya, with Prime Minister Narendra Modi attending the ‘Pran Pratistha’ rituals, will be held on Monday.

The ‘Pran Pratistha’ ceremony will commence at 12:20 pm and is expected to conclude by 1 pm. PM Modi will then address a gathering of over 7,000 people, including seers and eminent personalities, at the venue.

Several states have declared January 22 as a public holiday, while the Centre has announced a half-day at all its offices across the country to mark the mega event.
