Actor Rakul Preet Singh recently opened up about her experience with nepotism in the film industry during a podcast. While she admitted to losing films because of it, Rakul emphasized that nepotism is part of life and doesn’t make her bitter. She believes it exists in many industries, not just in films.
Sharing her views, Rakul said, “Of course, I’ve lost out on opportunities. But this is life, and it happens in all professions, whether it’s the medical field or any other industry. The sooner you accept it, the better.” She added that she’s not one to dwell on it, stating, “I feel bad for a day, and then I move on. Maybe those projects weren’t meant for me.”
Rakul also mentioned that, in the future, she would help her own kids if they needed support, just like star kids get help from their parents. “Nepotism is just a reality. If my kids need help, of course, I’d assist them. Their parents have worked hard for it,” she concluded.
