Rajnikanth discharged from the hospital and advised complete bed rest

Rajnikanth was recently admitted in hospital due to severe blood pressure fluctuations. This put his family and fans in shock and also got everyone worried. However soon the hospital had released a statement that the actor’s health is progressively recovering and there are no other health hazards witnessed. And while that surely made everyone feel glad, we heard some great news that Rajnikanth has been discharged from the hospital.

The actor has been advised complete bed rest for some time. The Apollo hospital where he was admitted released a statement which states, “Mr Rajnikanth was admitted to the hospital on December 25, 2020, with severe hypertension and exhaustion. He was kept under close medical supervision and treated by a team of doctors. His blood pressure has been stabilized and he is feeling much better. In view of his improved medical condition, he is being discharged from the hospital today. In view of his post-transplant status, labile hypertension, and age the following advice has been given in addition to the medications and diet: Complete bed rest for one week with regular monitoring of blood pressure along with the minimal physical activity. He has also been counselled to avoid any activity that increases the risk of contracting Covid-19.”

Rajnikanth had just resumed shooting for his next film Annaatthe alongside Nayanthara and Keerthy Suresh. However, when four team members tested positive for COVID-19, the shoot was back to being stalled. We really hope the actor has a speedy recovery and continues to entertain us.
