Rajkummar Rao is gearing up for the release of Stree 2, but before the film hits screens, he took a moment to celebrate one of the most important “stree” in his life—his wife, Patralekhaa. Sharing a candid picture of the couple, clicked by Kunal Khemmu, Rajkummar captioned it, “With my most favourite and most Khubsoorat #Stree.” The post garnered reactions from friends and fans alike, with Patralekhaa lovingly commenting, “Love you my bestest Purush,” and Soha Ali Khan calling it “All kinds of Gorgeousness.”
In a recent interview, Rajkummar revealed that Patralekhaa is his most honest critic, providing him with the constructive criticism necessary for his growth as an artist. He shared, “She would just tell me on my face if she didn’t like a film or a performance. I think it’s important to have that constructive criticism, as it helps you grow as an artist. Without growth, there is no art.” This candid admission highlights the strong bond and mutual respect between the couple.
Meanwhile, Stree 2 is set to open in theatres on August 14 with special night shows. The film stars Rajkummar Rao opposite Shraddha Kapoor, alongside Pankaj Tripathi, Abhishek Banerjee, and Aparshakti Khurrana. The film has already generated buzz with advance bookings crossing Rs 37 lakh, and it is poised to replicate the success of its 2018 predecessor.
