Almost a week before its release, the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) passed the original Telugu version of Pushpa 2: The Rule with a few cuts. Words like Denguddi, Venkateshwar and more were asked to be removed from the Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna starrer.
Similarly, a lot of scenes containing excessive violence were asked to be removed such as the scene where an amputated leg was seen flying or another scene where the protagonist is seen holding a severed arm.

Pushpa 2: The Rule stars Allu Arjun, Rashmika Mandanna, Fahadh Faasil, Jagadeesh Prathap Bandari, Jagapathi Babu, Prakash Raj, Sunil, and Anasuya Bharadwaj, among others. Directed by Sukumar, the film will be released in theatres on December 5.
