Ayan Mukerji’s directorial Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani, starring Ranbir Kapoor, Deepika Padukone, Kalki Koechlin, and Aditya Roy Kapur, has recently completed 10 years of its release. Recently, in an interview, Poorna Jagannathan talked about the film and revealed that Ayan Mukerji didn’t pen the climax of the film even after the filming commenced.
Poorna Jagannathan is all set to return for the final season of the American series Never Have I Ever. In an interview with a leading news portal, when Poorna was asked about any fond memories from YJHD, she stated that it was the boat scene with Ranbir Kapoor. She also stated that the crew was developing the script on the boat when they were filming on a boat in France with little time to spare.
Additionally, she said, “I remember meeting Ayan at the beginning. He’s like, listen, ‘I haven’t written the end’. Like he has gotten the money. He’s got financing. The locations are closed. We’re filming. He’s like, ‘I haven’t written the end. I was like, how is this working? Or just come together and then it turned out to be the highest-grossing movie in history. That’s incredible.”
Ayan recently celebrated the movie’s 10th anniversary by posting a video to Instagram that featured memorable scenes from the movie. Without a doubt, the video will make you feel nostalgic. Ayan released a lengthy letter thanking his admirers along with the video. He admitted in his post that, as of yet, he hasn’t seen the film “fully from beginning to end.” The renowned director referred to it as his “second child” and noted that YJHD is still the movie that people talk to him about rather than Brahmastra.
